The Guild
The Guild of both congregations
meet monthly. The programme for the year consists of visiting speakers,
social events, coffee mornings and involvement in the local community. The Guild
is open to men and women.
KILMUN (St. Munn's)
Meetings are generally held in Kilmun Church. Further

YOUTH
The work among young
people is encouraged. It may be through youth clubs, the Church
organisations or through the local Primary School in Strone where the
minister has been School Chaplain at the school. The uses the Church for
some special occasions such as at times of Festivals or special event. The
future of the community and the church depends on our young people.
The Church hall and
its facilities are used every night of the week by groups associated with
the church and the community as well as the special events or meetings at
weekends.
Ist STRONE
GUIDES
1st
Strone Guides meet every week in Strone Church hall from September to
June. It comprises 3 units: a Rainbow unit of 6 members, a Brownies Pack
of 14 members and a Guide Company of 16 members. All three units have
guides from Sandbank, Benmore, Strone and Ardentinny. A special Sunday
Service for the Guides is held each year either in Strone (St. Columba's)
or Kilmun (St. Munn's). They also assist in fund raising events and other
activities in the community.
